WebDreams - The Truth
by Lance Strong on Jun.10, 2007, under Webdreams
I had a great time shooting Webdreams and I was so looking forward to seeing it. Lately I haven’t been able to even watch. I thought this was all part and parcel for creating a good dramatic curve in the series, however lately it’s become too much for me to stomach.
Talking to people at shows and people who recognize me only confirm how stupid it makes me look. I’m not enjoying being unjustly crucified on National TV. Luckily I have this blog so I can voice my thoughts.
It started when I watched episode 9 of Webdreams and I noticed a couple of willful factual errors. For some reason a large portion of the plot hinged on me being late for a shoot, and distracting the performers when they were there.
The fact is I was not even supposed to be there that day at all. I had a family birthday and out of commitment, I still managed to show up and help. When I got there Jake and Tanzyn had to leave early due to family obligations (like I had earlier). So I finished the rest of the day on my own.
Again let me stress I was not even supposed to be present that day. As for distracting the talent I have a good reputation for putting performers at ease and the last shoot went very smoothly while I shot it on my own. I have never missed a shoot in my life and I am seldom late. This is a fact.
I wasn’t gonna get too worked up about it, but then I saw another episode, with gross fabrications, for instance missing a meeting in Florida at the Internext convention. Truth is My boss wanted to continuously go off site and do touristy stuff. Fair enough, but I was there to do a job and I was gonna be where the people were. At times I was at some parties, but this again is where people were that we needed to talk to. Not off in the everglades or elsewhere.
If you talk to anyone who saw me at this show, regardless the nights festivities I was one of the few people awake and working the show floor talking to other reps first thing when it opened. This is a costly event and not getting anything done would be insane. Odd that I had to fight with my boss to stay and actually get work done. Of course this wouldn’t make for good TV.
Recently I saw the preview for week 11 with the description (Lance gets fired). First of all I never got paid a dime for anything I did. Most of what I did was to help a friend. Second, I had a previous commitment to Bucky and Janessa and our sites previously. Between that and getting constantly belittled and berated I decided to cut ties. This was no secret. Funny how I got “fired‘“.
Wow, I’m beginning to wonder if they were even paying attention to what was actually going on or just making it up as they went along.
For those who want the short version
- I was not late for our first day of shooting, (wasn’t even supposed to be there at all) and I finished the day of shooting on my own as Jake had to leave himself.
- I wasn’t late for a meeting, I had to fight to stay at the event the whole time and I was the only one awake to be on the show floor first thing in the mornings during the Internet show in Miami.
- I was not fired, I cut ties on my own, because I won’t be talked down to, or belittled constantly by anyone. Least of all someone I was trying to help out. These are facts and they contradict sharply with the “Reality” of this show.

Our Webdreams Premiere tonight!
by Lance Strong on Apr.13, 2007, under Webdreams
Well tonight is the night we have our first appearance on the Showcase Original Series Webdreams Season 2. Hopefully you all enjoy it! And let me say I got a brand new appreciation for what being on TV and actually making a show is all about! There are a lot of people who do a lot behind the scenes that no one ever hears about. Like the editors, producers, directors, camera personnel, the works. Especially a show in this format, so much is done on the fly by the seat of our pants and much has to be done guerrilla style.
I’d like to thanks the entire talented team at Gala Film, and specifically Michael Kronish, Josh Dorsey, Jason Wessel, James, and especially Paul Kell. I had many incredible times with all of you. You could’ve made an entire show about “The making of Webdreams!”
I’d also like to thanks my Partners Buck Wylde and Janessa Jordan, Mandy More, Sheila Faye, Harlee Ryder, and last but not least my incredibly beautiful and golden hearted wife Alexandra Belle to whom I’ve been married over 10 years this May! Good partners in business are as rare as good partners in life and I’ve been blessed with both! Sonarcash and our dreams are becoming a reality!
Well our debut is tonight at 10 PM on Showcase! be sure to tune in and see if I look cool, or if I come off looking like a bloody moose knuckle! In which case a retraction to the above will have to be written!
Cheers and Beers all,

Internext 2006 Porn Convention

Well some people may think these things are boring and is just the same old shit year after year. I am NOT one of those people! This party was of the goddam chain! Between the Tits everywhere, drunk hotties, everflowing booze, beaches and local wildlife, if you can’t have a good time here then its time fucking rethink your place in the world.
All in all it was a fantastic weekend, I saw many people I hadn’t seen in a long time, and met so mnay other cool peeps. Now it’s of to LA to see what kind of damage I can do!
Cheers and Beers,
Lance Strong
